Work is now underway to build up a strain of traditional potato varieties such as gulløye, ås, kers pink, sepo. But it will take time.

Potato cultivation in -22 is history, now swales and hugelbeds are made here for vegetable cultivation.
The hugelbeds are also suitable for potato cultivation.
