Winter

Nature has taken on a different rhythm, the ice has settled on the surface. Under the ice there is still life, getting ready to wake up when spring comes. The animals are saving energy, but some are flapping around as usual. It is time to prepare for a new summer. There will be a party when spring comes.

 Workshops

I am not an academic with high expertise, but a generalist who teaches applied permaculture. Muskedalen is the place where theory manifests itself in practice. My pedagogy is based on the fact that all people have knowledge and the art is to extract it. I work according to the pedagogical principle that first we fix the foundation, then we build on.

Activity day:
It is both easier for me and I find it more interesting to hold learning workshops than to hold courses. At a learning workshop, the participants contribute and are active. The cost for the participants is also lower, I get help on the farm and we get to know each other as people.

I like to hold an activity day where we learn about a topic. The day starts with a theory session and continues with a work session. Then lunch and socializing before the last work session, and a summary of the day session.

Circle:
For those who are particularly interested, I like to hold a circle where we focus on our inner awareness in relation to nature. This focus enables us to explore living nature from a different perspective than the academic approach. Singing, dancing and devotion to nature are part of my nature religious practice. In the circle we create music together with instruments, drums and singing without any expectations of perfectionism.

What happens in the circle is kept in the circle. The circle is a place where the word goes around and we can open up if there is something that weighs on our hearts. In the circle we support each other.
